We’re delighted to announce the retention of Sean Flynn as Head Coach of our Men’s Open Age team.
Sean has been a stalwart of the club in his 6 years with us. Under his tutelage the Bulldogs returned to winning silverware in 2018, followed by consecutive appearances in Midlands Grand Finals in 2019, 2022 and 2023.
Speaking to newly appointed Chairman Ashley Vaughan, he had this to say:
I’m really excited to announce the news for Birmingham Bulldogs, Our head coach Sean Flynn is staying on for his sixth season with the team, this really is a show of his enduring commitment to the Bulldogs. The players deeply respect him, and the bond between them is evident as we have retained an incredible number of first team players over the last few seasons.
I’m sure Sean will have his sights set on winning the Midlands final again, there’s a shared enthusiasm amongst all of us for the upcoming 2024 season. I’m sure he will enjoy the many challenges and triumphs of what the bolstered league has to offer!
Here’s to another chapter of teamwork and success!
